Antoaneta Pangerova
is one of the most talented young tennis players of Bulgaria.
Antoaneta was born on the June, the 22nd, 1977 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
She has started her career as a professional tennis player at
the age of 19. As a professional tennis player she has won 4
titles from the ITF tournaments. Last two of which were won
this last year.
The year 2000 was very successful for Antoaneta.
She had improved her rankings very much to break the top 200
for the first time in her career. Among her success this year
was as well the title from the Bulgarian ITF tournament "Allianz
Bulgaria", becoming the only second Bulgarian to win the
tournament. Earlier in the year she won another $25 000 event
in Italy, winning 8 matches in a row. Antoaneta is also a player
from the Bularian Fed Cup team. Her play had helped the team
a lot in the recent years. With her ranking improving with every
tournament played, Pangerova will soon enter the top 100 of
the world. Now she is living in Germany, where she plays for
a tennis club
Compared to her last year's performance, this
year, Antoaneta was not very impressive.
